Enormous Forts of India

Mehrangarh - is shocking, powerful fortification, which is located in the northwestern part of the Indian state of  Rajasthan. Mehrangarh fortress is located on the high, steep cliffs of Marwar and literally dominates the city of Jodhpur. The city and the castle mountain road connects the length of 5 kilometers.  Fortress    proudly crowns a rocky cliff, representing inaccessible, a safe haven in the event of siege or attack the enemy. The style of the palace buildings is a truly harmonious blend of oriental    luxury,  ophistication, royal residence and minimalist architecture    functional fortifications. The main entrance to the fortress Mehrangarh Fort located in the Tower of  Victory (it's one of the seven high towers that guard the approaches to the construction).  In the dark vault of the tower begins fortress road, winding and quite steep,  and open terraces around the towering arbors and other palace buildings, elegant barred windows of these buildings are not only an ornament, but  also allow to monitor all outside the fortress. Famous  for the beauty of its decoration and fabulous luxury another Mehrangarh called Iron Tower.

Kangra Fort: Kangra

The famous Kangra fort built by the Royal family of Kangra, situated on the confluence of the Banganga and Manjhi Rivers in the Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh. Jaisalmer Fort:Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer fort,one of the largest forts in the world,situated in the state of Rajasthan,built by Rawal Jaisal. The magnificent foundation of Jaisalmer Fort is situated in the midst of the sandy terrain of the Great Thar Desert. Jaisalmer fort is also known as Sonar quila and “Golden Fort, built on the triangular shaped Trikuta hill, 76 m above the town. The second oldest fort in the state of Rajasthan counted as one of the most invincible forts in India. Major attractions inside the forts are Jain temples,Royal palace and big gates. Gwalior Fort: Gwalior

Gwalior Fort the beautiful historical monument located in Madhya Pradesh built by Rana Man Singh Tomar. This magnificent monument holds a specimen of the wonderful ancient Indian architecture.
